Scythian bronze mythical beasr applique. 6th to 2nd Century BC. An erect body with elongated tail curling up behind the head. Decorated by circular shapes across the main body with open work eye. Attachment lug to the rear. Presented on a custom made stand.
Origin
Scythian culture covered areas of Ukraine and Southern Russia across the Pontic Steppe towards the East.
