Parthian Silver Belt Mount

Description

Parthian silver belt mount with a high relief stylised human face as the centre of its decoration. lobes to each corner with circular decoration as well.

Origin

Circa 2nd to 3rd Century AD Parthian culture.

Object height 3.5cm width 4cm/ stand height 8.5cm

Condition

Several losses to mount itself as per the photos. One loss to side of face and to the top surface of the two top corner lobes
