Ancient Greek Apulian Redware Lekanis. Complete footed body with two horizontal handles. Complete lid with decorated finial. Classical piece of Greek pottery with a “lady of Fashion” holding a mirror and a nude male wine drinker.

Magna Graecia. Sothern Italy circa 350 BC

Handle to handle width 27cm. Circumference of body of bowl 16cm. Height 14cm

Condition

Good ancient condition with repair to lid securing it together. Two bites out of lid rim as per photos.
